Overdoing optimization (i.e Repeating keywords, copied content, repeating keywords in meta tags etc) is the biggest mistake,that most companies or peoples attempt on their sites which leads to create a potential barrier between you and search engines. In terms of SEO, a web crawler is an algorithm which can only crawls your pages on your site which are directly linked and it can also crawls flash and java scripts. If you try to attempt any other than those things which a web crawler failed to crawl then the relationship between you and search engine goes wrong. So to maintain a good relationship you have to design your site well with keywords, phrases, images etc. Your content should be very clear,informative for your users and friendly experience for your web crawler. You have to follow few things in order to maintain a good relationship with search engines.

Update your site regularly: First thing is to update your site regularly. This is what most companies would like to believe. If your site optimized correctly and strictly to search engines rules, then there is nothing more you have to do. If your site is not updating regularly with fresh content then search engines will simply dump your site in newer fresher site. Don’t ever think that search engines are made for company. Few people thinks that advertisers pay lots of money to search engines and occupy higher ranking positions in search results. And also thinks that their site never comes in top position. This is absolutely wrong. Search engines are not made for company. If your site relevant to the search that the user enters, it will appear in the results.

More links the better relationship: This heading doesn’t indicate or tells you to build thousands of links in a day. If search engines find that you are building more number of links then your site comes under spam results. Search engines doesn’t cares the amount of links you are building to your site. It cares the quality of link. Always maintain a relationship between your content and links. As your site content increases your inbound links should increase but not in extent.
I don’t use Flash and Framed pages: Major search engines like Yahoo, Google, and MSN will always say that few web crawlers have the difficulty on reading the content of those pages which have Flash and Framed scripts. If you are targeting only these search engine traffic then you can create pages with flash.Google,Yahoo and MSN can scan the text of a flash site with their algorithm. The major reason why i don’t use Flash scripts because i don’t know Flash seo and of course of my slow hosting

Keyword overindulgence: This is the mistake which everyone makes with their site at initial stage (i.e learning seo ). Later i came to know that what we are writing is not for web crawler. That is  for viewer. This is completely a rookie move to get placed first on web search by keyword flodding.

Search engine traffic is the direct way of approach to the visitors and technical way of approach (i.e other than search engine) is the indirect way of approach. 1. Try to do blogposts in those websites who are getting natural traffic (i.e search engine traffic). This is the indirect method of approaching to their visitors. If those visitors like your content then they will become your regular visitors. This is how you can gather number of visitors from different websites.

2. Try to comment first in those websites who are getting bulk traffic from search engines. Your comment should be neat, logical and it should create happiness to the website holder. Try to place your website link below your comment. I can surely say that your comment act as an outbound link from that post. Readers always like to read comments. If your comment is good then it makes readers to visit your website. Your comment should create a necessity for those visitors to visit your site. (For example you have visited a post with title ” 5 ways of getting traffic other than search engine”. If you see a comment like this “If possible try to visit my site. I wrote 3 more ways which are completely different from your post”. What will you do after reading this comment??)

3. Try to ping blog services. You can find number of services in web which is designed specifically for tracking and connecting blogs. Just by sending small ping to each service you will let them know that you have written a new post so that they will come and checkout your post.

 4. Write a killer post by taking your own time may be 1 week. And submit your post in any one of the best article directory. This step will fetch you bulk of visitors as well as a link from higher pr. If possible try to open a new thread in digitalpoint with that post. I can surely many people will copy your post and provide a direct link to your website.

5. Try to submit your website for as many directories as you can. But plan your keywords and description before submitting your website. Don’t always think that directories submission is useless. As i told you even if an email sends by your friend if harmful.A few viruses takes email ids from address book and sends to destination from those email ids with attached virus.so ask your friend before downloading the file.Scan those files as soon as you downloaded.Better to delete those files which are infected.Never open a file which comes from unknown person.If you are using Microsoft Outlook download secutiry software which protects your system from email attached virus.NOTE:Never open .vbs extended file.As it contains very harmful virus which distroys your Operating System.

2)Do not hide File extensions:
Most of the Operating systems such as windows 98,Xp etc will now show hidden files.Most of the system files are in Hidden format.Operating systems will not let you to delete those files accidently.Those files are going to infect as soon as you downloaded Email attached virus.
Follow the below steps to show all the files in your computer.
-Double click on My computer.
-Go to Tools.
-Click on Folder Options.
-Go to view and then next click on Show all the files.
-Do not check the Setting “Hide File Extensions For Known File Types”.

3) Use HTML Email Sparingly:
HTML tags helps virus to enter in to others system.HTML tags having few advantages with files.They can change Color,text, including images in email.When you preview the image in your email then virus is activated.These type of virus may distroy your system just by previewing the images.Bubbleboy virus uses this type of method to destroy your system.
To protect your system from these kind of viruses is to Turn off HTML sending and receiving option.Or you can also set this option to not preview.The best option in my view is to use email programs like Courier by Rose City Software which allows you to disable all sending and receiving HTML tags through email.

4)Disable Windows Scripting Host:
ILOVEYOU warm and NewLove warm use the windows script hosting language.Windows script hosting is an optional part in Windows operating system.It can be removed from the system.As soon as the windows script hosting is removed from the system all the dirty viruses enters in your system.Mainly ILOVEYOU warm and NewLove warm.To combat these viruses, you could disable the Windows Scripting Host ability, but those viruses may effect your system in negative ways.

Following procedures to disable Windows Script Hosting for different operating systems.
For Windows 95:
All the users who are using windows 95 will have windows script hosting installed internally.Or else it can be installed by using internet explorer.
Procedure to disable Windows script hosting in windows 95:
-Open My Computer.
-Select View and then Options.
-Click on File Types tab.
-Find VBScript “Script File”.
-Select Remove and then click OK.

Procedure to disable Windows script hosting in windows 98:
-Click on Start button in tool bar.
-Go to settings.
-Go to control panal and then click on Add/Remove programs.
-Chose the Windows Setup tab.
-Click on Accessories for details.
-Uncheck Windows Scripting Host.
-Click on OK to save changes.

Procedure to disable Windows script hosting in windows NT:
-Double Click on My computer.
-Select View.
-Click on File Types.
-Find VBScript Script File.
-Select Remove and then press OK.

Procedure to disable Windows script hosting in Windows 2000:
-Double click on My computer.
-Go to tools and then folder options.
-Click on File Types.
-Find VBScript Script File.
-Select delete and then click ok.

5)Buy Anti-Virus software:
