Hello mates, i have written this post long back(May be 5months ago).But i didnt publish it. The main reason is that i have to give many outbound links for different websites. Due to this reason i delayed this post.At present I covered almost 50% of topics regarding seo and i thought this is the right time to publish this post so that i can give all outbound links to my Internal Pages.

What is Search Engine Optimization(SEO) ?

SEO is the technical method of implementation on a website and its internal pages in order to increase traffic and popularity of a site from search engines. SEO is the key for webmarketing which can target on Image search, Content, Flash, and for different search queries. The main objective of SEO is how search engine works and how does spiders crawls website. If you can able to fetch out the procedure of How spiders crawls web pages and how does search engine algorithm works then you are said to be an SEO expert. Many SEO companies works on these two questions. They work continuously on testing algorithms.

Basic SEO requires simple editing of content and HTML editing to increase site relevancy and this process removes barries from search engines indexing.The basic step of SEO is to index our content in all search engines. Search engine operation takes 5 steps to show results as you enter search query. These steps are Crawling the web, Scanning HTML source code, Indexing pages,Processing queries and ranking results. Search engines uses very rich algorithms which can perform millions of operations in a secs. Search engines gives much importance for Hyper links. Spiders or bots when they start scanning our web pages they look for hyper links.If they find any hyperlinks then they will enter into those pages and check whether that site’s content is relavent or not. These spiders can understand HTML language.When spiders start crawling web pages they crawl each and every word. If they find any hyperlink with nofollow attribute then they will not give any value to that site. This is how search engine algorithms are designed.

Remember that if any internal web page cannot be accessed from home page then it is likely that it will not be indexed by search engines.Sitemap is the answer which can solve this problem. And what search engines actually require is text on topic with high quality. This is the major and important factor on On-page optimization.And there are many On-page optimization factors which really needed for SEO work. Think what really visitors expect. Few usability tips that really helps in attracting visitors are Navigation, Design, Information and Architecture,Functionality and Accessibility and Lastly Content.

Elegant, high quality and impact design are the critical steps in gaining visitors for your site. If your site is not upto mark (low professional) it indirectly hurts the chances of gaining links and engendering trust in your visitors. How to handle SEO project?

How to handle SEO project or How to start SEO project:

We need to be a professional SEO before handling any SEO project. We cannot become an SEO expert without practice or without handling any seo work. If you are good enough about your skills then you can handle any seo work. I cannot say that I am having 100% knowledge about SEO. As we know seo is an ocean. But you should have confidence about what you know. With this sprit you can handle any SEO project. 

I started handling SEO work 2years back. I have done many Mini projects. With the basics of my knowledge I can say there are many steps to handle an SEO project. I am writing this article to those webmasters, companies who are willing to hire an SEO company. I just want to say them, that before hiring an SEO company they have to fetch as much of information as they can about that SEO Company. Why I am saying this because many of friends are working in different seo companies. They never ever do On- page optimization. What most seo companies are going to do is just submitting our website to major search engine directories and  keeping Metatags. This is how most seo companies handle projects. Frankly speaking without on-page optimization we cannot do seo for any website.

Well, things which I am going to handle for SEO project:

Check HTML source code: As a webmaster I know how importance is HTML. Knowing html is a must. You need to compare your html source code with your competitor websites. Comparing source codes is a good habit.

How search engine crawls your page: You need to have basic knowledge about How search engine crawls your web page. This is very complicated task. You need to know how search engine crawl your page and how it works. You cannot get this theory anywhere. You need constant practice on indexing pages. You need to next algorithms. If you know how Google algorithm crawl your webpage then you are considered to be perfect SEO webmaster. Try to gain as many as differences between search engines. If you can find the major difference between Google and yahoo then you can easily index your web pages. There is a method to know how search engine crawl your page. The best method is to play with your own website

Bit of CSS : Try to know basics of CSS. I don’t want you to become an expert in CSS. Just edit your website headings, font style, font color etc. If you can do this then it is well enough. Well, this is very simple task. Every one can handle this task.

Web design: I don’t want you to focus in this field. If you are doing seo work then you should not consider web design. In my sense web design is least bothered. We have to challenge our competitors and that is our prime motto. Well, good design can attract your visitors but try to create a website with less design. If you are having a bit of error in your html page then it creates difficulty for search engines to crawl your web pages. Many webmasters are facing with this problem.

Keyword research: I love this task  i know keyword research is very difficult task, but still i love it. I have written many posts on keyword research. There are many ways to approach best keywords with high popularity, competitiveness and relevance. This step comes under pure on-page optimization and as you knows that this is very difficult to do keyword research. Keywords should be use at right position at right time. Without keyword research you cannot top in search engine results. You should know where to use keywords.You have to be very careful while doing this task. Always maintain good keyword frequency in post title, and first 1/4 of content. Why I am saying this because most search engines gives higher priority for title tags and first 1/4 of content. 

Competitive research: In this step you have to compare your keywords with your competitors. Know what they are doing. That’s enough.

Complete knowledge about penalties: You should come up with complete knowledge about Google penalties. Without knowing penalties please don’t handle any seo work. Why because many companies get their databases for millions of dollars. If we have done anything wrong then Google de indexes their pages and keeps their website in Google sandbox. And this will be the very worst case.

robots.txt : Try to understand what really robots.txt needs. And try to get how they are crawling our pages. If you can do this then you can easily index your client pages.

After completion of on-page you have to do Off-page. Off-page is nothing but Link building.

Do you know what big seo companies do?? They prefer 3 way link exchanges. That’s it. No other step that they are going to take. I too have worked for  seo company. I know what they do and what not. Keyword rich content or Quality backlinks: 

I have seen many people arguing on this topic. Whether Keyword rich content is the best or Website with lots of backlinks? I am asking you same question. Which one is better?

Two weeks back there is an argument between two SEO experts. 1st SEO expert says Content with rich keywords is best. And 2nd SEO expert says Backlinks are enough to rank better ranking position in search engines.

My answer to them: Your job is to write Excellent content .That’s all.. Content is the prime source. Link building is the job which has been done by your content. If your content is good then many links points to your website. This is natural way of Link building. But… Remaining answer will be given at the end of this article.

 Keyword rich content:

There are many SEO webmasters who are having well experience with on page optimization. You know how to write Keyword rich content. You know how to optimize content. Yes I do agree without on page optimization our website can’t rank for higher search results, but will you guarantee that your website lasts for ever in better ranking position?  Now my answer is: Content is always king. You don’t really need of seo if your website content is king. Natural and quality links will automatically comes to you.  If the argument between Keyword rich content and Quality backlines then my answer is : As a webmaster we need both Keyword rich content and quality backlinks for better ranking positions. 

 If the argument between Killer content and Link building then my answer is : If the content is really Killer then he need not to bother about link building. His content itself builds 1000′s of links without any man work.
