You can do a quick scan disk on your computer and find out the corrupted files by following commands:
Start > Run > Command >Run the command without quotes “chkdsk” nothing but check disk.
Now your PC scan disk utility will scan the complete file structure of your hard disk and give you a full report of corrupted files as shown below.
This is you can locate corrupted files in your system.
How to wipe corrupted files??
Now you have to wipe or clean all your corrupted files on your hard disk drive. It is recommended to wipe off your hard disk drive for 7 to 8 times before you get a real hard disk drive (HDD). and this can make sure that no one can recover your data.
Few Hard Disk erasing tools are available in web. Some popular tools are hard drive erasers ,Kill Disk, Wipedrive etc. Or else just run FDisk which will clean your HDD completely and you can reinstall your OS Later.
