How to use Remote Desktop Web Connection?
How to use Remote Desktop in connecting a System which is in WAN to a System which is in another WAN(consider that you have a system in WAN at your home and you want to connect to your friends system which is WAN at his home)(Remote Desktop Web Access)
This can be done in two methods
Method1:Using Remote Desktop Web Connection
Download Remote Desktop Web Connection.
Remote Desktop Web Connection is the tool required to establish web access between two Remote systems. So I recommend you to install this software. Install the software in the mentioned path C:WindowsWebTSWeb.
1. Go to this path C:WindowsWebTSWeb and open the default page in Internet Explorer
2. Run the Default page in Internet Explorer by allowing the Acitve X control to run.
3.Before Running the default page please get your host system ready by implementing the step1 – step3 as i have mentioned in Getting your Remote system ready.
4.Ask your friend to get his static IP by finding it in whatismyip.com.
5.Now enter the IP address of the host system and press the connect button.
6.Remote Desktop web connection loads the Remote Desktop in a web browser and allows you to have access through it. After pressing the connect button you’ll face a black screen with a windows logon window in a your default web browser as shown in the figure below
7.Now enter the username and password of the Remote system and press OK. You’ll get the remote desktop on to your browser.
