How to do keyword research: If you are planning to start a new website then you should be well prepared about your niche keywords. One of my friend named Alan quoted me this question ..

Hey brother i would like to start a new website on my own product. So how should i do keyword research? Do you want me to
target competitive keywords or low traffic keywords?

Well Keyword research is a big deal. Just we have to spent a bit of time on what our competitors are doing, who are they, On which keywords are they targetting. They may not be who you think. If you are at a beginning stage then it is better to choose low traffic keywords then higher competitive keywords like Marketing ideas, SEO etc. You know what i am talking about. These competitive websites have been around forever. They have lots of content and incredible brand penetration so everyone’s about them. They have spent lots of lots money to get quality backlinks.

Before starting keyword research you just have a look on your competitors content. On what keywords are they focusing, though those keyowrds are important? I mean to say that when we are concentrating on our website then simultaneously we should spider out what our competitors are doing.

In this article i will give you complete approach on How to do keyword research. Well there are number of free SEO tools are available on the internet which can make your job much easier. The first and major step is to create list of potential keywords. Brainstorm all keywords what you think. Just focus on phrases which are relavent to your website. Now save all your keywords in a text document. Your next step is to determine Master keywords . NOTE: Dont think that you are going to top in google after keyword research. Link building is the major step for ranking step then keyword search. But without proper keywords you cannot rank in search engines.
